Summer is a great time to find a dyslexia tutor to work with your child. Summer is often known as a time when children lose ground academically, because they are away from school for so many weeks. However, it doesn’t have to be this way! Summer provides a wonderful opportunity for a dyslexic child to focus on reading, writing, and spelling. Instead of losing ground during summer, a child can actually return to school at the end of the summer more advanced than when summer vacation started! The summer allows children plenty of time to improve their reading, and to fall in love with reading. With those extra hours in the summer and a public library nearby, they have the chance to explore all sorts of exciting things while improving their language skills. A skilled dyslexia tutor is able to help develop a student’s love of reading, in addition to helping them master the mechanics of it.
Here at Dyslexia Connect, we are offering a summer special for new students who sign up for our online tutoring program. If you have been thinking of trying tutoring, this is an excellent time to sign up and see the remarkable progress that can be made. For more information, go to our “contact” or “sign-up” page and ask for more information. We’ll get back to you promptly with all of the details.
