Hello, everyone!
Welcome to the Dyslexia Connect Blog! My name is Peter Groth, and I am the creator and operator of Dyslexia Connect. I have worked as a dyslexia tutor for a number of years, and in this blog, I am going to be sharing some insight regarding dyslexia and dyslexia education that I gained in my work as a dyslexia tutor. I hope that this information will prove to be useful to parents, educators, dyslexic individuals, and anyone seeking information and answers about dyslexia.
I am often asked what I enjoy most about my work, and I always respond that greatest part of it consists in helping the students in our program achieve their academic potential. I have a passion for learning, and I can’t imagine my life without the richness that books and education have brought to it. I believe that literacy is one of the key components to unlocking creativity, curiosity and potential. When a student learns to read and comprehend well, the avenues of possibility are open to them.
